Gallery 19, Manchester Art Gallery, 26/11/25
“MMU fashion graduate and apprenticed tailor Oscar Munro has taken our exhibition banners and crafted a series of products that echo the exhibition’s theme of slow fashion. Alongside rescued materials such as hot air balloon off cuts, seatbelts, car leather and sail cloth our banners are transformed into luxury accessories with a sharp contemporary feel”.
- Manchester Art Gallery
A collaboration collection designed and created by Oscar Munro which focuses entirely on repurposing materials into functional & striking product.
We have worked together on this collection by providing Oscar with our past exhibition banners. He has repurposed these along with other waste textiles to make these stylish and highly functional bags.
As well as the vinyl banners you will see boating sails, parachutes and automotive waste textiles found in the UK and repurposed in the UK.
